Please note that these documents are also located in our Document Library under Committees>ARC. In the Library there are also the ARC Policies and Procedures.

SAOA Architectural Review Committee (SAOA ARC) Summer 2026 reminder
We hope summer 2026 finds everyone happy, healthy, and well.
SAOA ARC is reminding everyone in the community that the five (5) member volunteer committee is a resource to assist homeowners with the preliminary planning of upcoming proposed home and property projects (New Construction, Expansion projects, Renovations, Alterations, Repairs, Upgrades, etc.) and with guidance on the SAOA ARC Application preparation and submission process to obtain SAOA ARC approval for such work to their homes or properties.
Please recall that new construction, expansions, alterations, renovations, repairs, etc. to the exterior of homes and work to the property's site (aka yard and driveway) almost always requires mandatory SAOA ARC review and approval. SAOA ARC must also review and approve the removal of living trees as defined in the SAOA ARC Policies Procedures Manual and Amendments. Failure to submit an application, review fee, and obtain SAOA ARC approval as required per the documents may result in daily fines and mandates to remove at the homeowner's expense non-approved work that has been installed.
The SAOA Policies and Procedures manual also defines routine yard clean ups and what yard work can be done by homeowners (or their contractors) without SAOA ARC review and approval.
On the website you will find the SAOA ARC documents and application form that explain the process and when the mandatory submission of application, review fee, instructions, and SAOA ARC approval is required.
Please contact the SAOA ARC before hiring any contractor or proceeding with any work. We are happy to answer questions in a timely and expeditious manner.
